John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of Ghana's opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has asserted their commitment to the 2024 elections, aiming for an intense and thorough approach.

Speaking during the New Year celebrations in the Savannah Region, Mahama emphasized the critical nature of the elections, rejecting any notion of taking them lightly. He emphasized the importance of mobilizing and safeguarding every vote, urging supporters to view the elections with utmost seriousness.

Mahama highlighted the party's readiness and belief in Ghanaians' support while stressing the need for hard work and protection of votes. He assured the provision of necessary campaign resources and encouraged party members to actively reclaim seats and ensure transparent reporting of results.

The former president urged a strong fight for parliamentary seats in the Savannah region, advocating for the use of available resources to secure victory, assuring party members of their right to campaign funds.

As part of his campaign activities, Mahama plans to meet with local leaders and engage with the community. The fervor shown by Mahama and the NDC sets the stage for an intriguing election, highlighting their determination to strive for success.
