Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia emphasized the crucial role of digital transformation in Ghana's economy, stating that it can propel development, tackle longstanding issues, and enhance economic and public sector governance. Speaking at the 75th Annual New Year School at the University of Ghana, he highlighted the event's significance as a platform for various sectors to discuss national concerns.







Dr. Bawumia reiterated the government's commitment since 2017 to leverage digital transformation for leapfrogging development, addressing historical challenges, and enhancing governance in both economic and public sectors.
